This Conveyor Motor is used to run the conveyor system carrying coal from coal yard to bunker. This unit is the main carry unit of a 1000MW plant. The conveyor is 1km long. BTS managed to replace the existing motor with a Menzel motor. After testing and commissioning, the motor ran well, confirming its suitability as a replacement.
